Parking

There is a paid multi-story parking lot connected by a pedestrian walkway. If the multi-story parking lot is full, please use the paid surface parking lots available in the surrounding area.
Please note that some surface parking lots are located at a distance from Niigata Port, so allow extra time when using them during large-scale events held at Toki Messe adjacent to the port, during the summer busy season, or during long holidays.

• We ask that passengers boarding with a vehicle arrive at the car ferry vehicle boarding point at least 1 hour before the departure time.
• If you will be parking your vehicle at Niigata Port before boarding, please use the multi-level parking garage adjoining the terminal.
• During Golden Week, the busy summer season, or on days when an event is held at Toki Messe Niigata Convention Center adjoining the multi-level parking garage, the parking garage may be full, so please use the nearby parking lots A through D in such cases.
  ※If you used parking lot in the surrounding area, it may take as much as 20 minutes to walk to the Sado Kisen terminal from distant lots, so please leave well in ahead of time.
• We do not offer reservations for parking. Parking is on a first-come-first-served basis. Thank you for your understanding.

Parking fees

• Parking is free for the first 60 minutes after entering, and ¥100 for each additional 30 minutes
• For standard vehicles, the maximum fee for 1 day is ¥1,500. (1 day refers to the 24-hour period after entering)
• Passengers on the Sado ferry route receive a discount with a maximum fee for 1 day of ¥800.
• If you insert your parking ticket into the discount authentication machine installed in the waiting room on the 3rd floor of the terminal, the discount will be applied at the time of payment.

（1） First 1 hour after entering: Free
（2） 1 to 5 hours: ¥100 per 30 minutes
（3） Over 5 hours, up to 24 hours: ¥800
This parking lot is operated under contract by the Niigata Messe Co., Ltd., established by Niigata Prefecture.
