CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation of online reservation (before boarding for outbound trip)

Cancellation fee for online reservations
Up to 7 days before the boarding date (counting backward from the day before departure)¥200 per passenger (one-way)
¥200 per vehicle (one-way, includes 2nd class fare for driver)
※ If the driver uses 1st class or special class, an additional ¥200 per one-way trip will be charged as the difference from 2nd class.
From 6 to 2 days before the boarding date10% of the total fare (including pet fees)
※ Minimum fee: ¥200
From the day before departure until the scheduled departure time30% of the total fare (including pet fees)
If the amount is less than ¥200, a minimum fee of ¥200 will be charged.
After the scheduled departure time (including no-shows)100% of the total fare (including pet fees)
If the reserved service is canceled by the CompanyNo cancellation fee applies
※If the reserved ferry is (or will be) cancelled, no cancellation fee will be charged. However, if the customer cancels the reservation before the Company officially announces the cancellation of service, a cancellation fee will apply.
  • If you cancel after making a card payment, a cancellation fee will be charged regardless of the cancellation date.

Refunds (after boarding ticket issuance)

※However, regardless of the above, the fare for second-class cabins will be a flat rate of ¥200.
※Any fraction less than 10 yen will be rounded up.
※There is no fee for refunding tickets for cancelled flights.

  • Already issued tickets cannot be cancelled by phone. Refunds can only be made at the ticket counters of any Sado Kisen port if you are in front of the ticket gates and the ticket is still valid. 
  • If you are unable to come to the counter during the validity period, please contact the port of embarkation listed on the back of your ticket.
