The former Ehime, which used to cross the Hoyo Channel (Yawatahama Port to Beppu Port), was refurbished and newly launched in 2023 to connect Naoetsu Port and Ogi Port across the Essa Channel.
The five-story vessel is equipped with Sado Kisen's 1st class with-dog rooms and is a stylish mid-sized ferry.
